This practice was built differently
Most people who come here share one thing: they have consistently been handed support that was never designed for them.
-
LGBTQ+ Adults
You've been performing belonging for long enough.
-
Family & Caregivers
You've been holding everyone together. Who is holding you?
-
Trauma Survivors
You're still here. That matters. There's support for what comes after.
-
English and Spanish. Cultural context included.
For many Latine clients, family, culture, and identity don't arrive separately; they arrive stacked, each one shaping the others. The pressure to stay loyal, keep the peace, carry family expectations, or protect others often shapes not just their relationships and decisions, but how much space they believe they're allowed to take up.
This practice was built with those realities in mind. You do not have to translate your culture, your family dynamics, or the emotional weight you carry in order to be understood here. Come in the language that lets you speak most honestly.
What you'll walk away with?
Understanding what you've been carrying, and why it has cost you so much.
Knowing the difference between what you've chosen and what was handed to you.
A relationship with yourself that isn't built on survival mode.
The tools to build a life that finally feels like yours.
Yoyce Geronimo Galvan, M.A.
Founder, Held & Seen Coaching
A queer Latina and native Spanish speaker with an M.A. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. I didn't arrive at this work theoretically. I have lived inside the same worlds my clients navigate.
Over 10+ years in behavioral health, I designed programs serving thousands of families, trained and supervised coaches, and worked directly with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, individuals living with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, queer people navigating identity and family, families affected by a loved one's addiction, and Latine individuals.
